About Our Farm

Who is FarmTable Meat Co.?

We're a third-generation family farm in Franklin County, Indiana, raising the fourth generation right alongside us. Our
family has worked this ground since 1959, and today we raise beef and pork, render our own tallow into skincare, and make single-ingredient pet treats - all from the same farm, under the same family's care.

Where is your farm located?

We're in Southeastern Indiana, in the rolling hills near Batesville and Greensburg. While our farm is
the heart of everything we do, we ship nationwide so families outside Indiana can enjoy the same meat we serve our own.

Do you raise all your own animals?

Yes. Our cattle and hogs are raised right
here on our family farm — we don't source animals from outside operations. That
means we know exactly how every animal was raised, from the day it's born to
the day it leaves our care.

What are your standards for raising animals?

We keep our standards simple and intentional: clean, responsibly raised meat with no antibiotics and no added
hormones. Our animals are raised with attention to welfare, natural growth, and thoughtful land stewardship - the same way our family has approached farming for three generations.

Is your beef grass-fed or grain-finished?

Our cattle are pasture-raised and grain-finished. They spend their lives on pasture, with a grain-finishing
period before harvest that we've found gives the beef the marbling, tenderness, and flavor our customers expect from a great steak.

Is your pork pasture-raised?

Yes. Our pork is pasture- and timber-raised, meaning our hogs have room to root, roam, and behave like hogs -
not confined to a barn. It's a slower way to raise pork, and you can taste the difference.

Orders & Support

What products do you sell?

We sell farm-raised beef and pork - from curated freezer boxes to à la carte cuts and bulk options - along with our
handcrafted tallow skincare line and single-ingredient pet treats made right on the farm.

Do you sell individual cuts, or only boxes?

Both. Our curated boxes (like the Beef + Pork Combo, Pork Staples Box, and Mega Freezer Box) are built to stock a
freezer without the guesswork, and our À La Carte collection lets you hand-pick individual cuts if you already know what you're after.

What's included in a freezer box?

Each box is built around a purpose (grilling, everyday staples, or a full freezer restock) with a curated mix of
cuts sized for that purpose. Exact contents are listed on each product page, since they vary by box and by what's currently available from the farm.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. FarmTable gift cards are available on our website and are a popular way to introduce someone to farm-raised beef and pork without guessing which cuts they'll want.

Can I customize my order?

Our à la carte selection is the best way to build an order around your own preferences - pick the specific cuts,
quantities, and combinations you want rather than a pre-set box.

Shipping & Returns

Where do you ship?

We ship nationwide within the continental United States. Because our products are perishable, we're currently unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the U.S.

What days do you ship, and why?

We ship orders on Mondays and Tuesdays only, via UPS, so your beef and pork never sit in a warehouse or a truck over a weekend. Orders placed after 12 PM ET on Tuesday will ship the following Monday. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

How is my order packaged to stay fresh?

Every order is hand-packed in insulated boxes with ice packs and/or dry ice to maintain a safe temperature in transit. Beef is vacuum-sealed to lock in flavor and freshness, and packaging is designed to stay cold for the full shipping window. When it arrives, just move everything straight to your fridge or freezer.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is a flat rate based on your delivery zone: $30 for Zone 1, $35 for Zone 2, and $50 for Zones 3 and 4 -
regardless of order size. Your exact zone and rate are calculated at checkout.

What happens if I'm not home when my order arrives?

Please make sure someone is available to bring your order inside and into the fridge or freezer promptly on delivery
day. Because our products are perishable, FarmTable Meat Co. isn't able to be responsible for packages left unattended after delivery.

Can I pick up my order directly from the farm?

Yes. Choose "Farm Pick Up" at checkout, and our family will reach out within 24–48 hours to schedule a time that works for you. It's a great option if you're local and want to skip the shipping fee altogether.

Do you offer local delivery?

For customers within our local delivery area, yes. Select the local delivery option at checkout, and we'll be in touch
within 24–48 hours to arrange a drop-off right to your door.

Product Info

How should I store my meat when it arrives?

Transfer everything to your refrigerator or freezer as soon as it arrives. Our beef is vacuum-sealed, which helps it
hold quality well in the freezer; we recommend using refrigerated cuts within a few days and keeping anything you won't use soon in the freezer until you're ready to cook.

Is your meat USDA inspected?

Yes. Every cut is processed under USDA inspection for quality and safety, so you can trust what's landing on your
table - from pasture to package.

Does your beef and pork contain antibiotics or added hormones?

No. We raise our animals without antibiotics or added hormones. It's one of the standards our family has held
onto across three generations, because it's the same food we feed our own kids.

What are your pet treats made from?

Our pet treats are single-ingredient, made from the same farm-raised beef and pork we sell for your own table. No
fillers, additives, or mystery ingredients. It's the same standard we hold for our family's food, applied to yours.
